Accessibility

This English version is a translation provided for information; in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

We want bikeshop-network.com, the shops’ back office and the websites we provide to shops to be usable by everyone: with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or a small screen.

Conformance status

These services are partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, level AA), as adopted by the European standard EN 301 549. No full audit has been carried out by an independent body yet: this status is based on our own checks (automated tools and keyboard testing, October 2026).

What is in place

  • Keyboard navigation, with a visible marker on the active element.
  • Dialogs that keep keyboard focus, close with the Escape key and return focus to the button that opened them; menus and lists that work with the arrow keys.
  • Booking with a keyboard: focus follows each step, and every calendar day has its full name.
  • Button contrast checked automatically, including with the colors chosen by the shop.
  • Text alternatives on meaningful images (each shop photo can have a description), labeled form fields.
  • The language of each page is declared, a skip link, a pause button on content that moves on its own, single-key shortcuts that can be turned off.
  • Layouts that adapt to zoom and small screens; light and dark themes.

Known limitations, being fixed

  • The workshop board, which is reorganized by drag and drop, is still hard to use without a mouse (each work order can still be moved to another step from its own page).
  • On German and Japanese websites, a few texts are still in English or French (customer area sign-in, cookie banner, one question of the booking form).
  • Our checks were made with automated tools and a keyboard, not yet with a screen reader by someone who uses one every day.
  • Content from other publishers (OpenStreetMap map, Paddle’s checkout) depends on those publishers.

Report a problem

If you can’t access some content or a feature, email contact@bikeshop-network.com or call +33 7 51 12 69 50: we answer within 5 business days and offer you another way to get the information or the service. For a shop’s website, you can also contact the shop (“Accessibility” page of its website).

Enforcement

If our answer doesn’t satisfy you, you can contact the French Defender of Rights (defenseurdesdroits.fr) or report the problem to the DGCCRF (signal.conso.gouv.fr), or the competent authority in your country.

Our approach

Every new feature is checked with a keyboard and an automated tool before it goes live; the limitations above are fixed as updates come out.
